The whole Armand-Don Juan connection continues to intrigue and elude me. I remember having a conversation with Armand about the subject but I cannot recall any specifics. Yet when I read Armand's diaries and realize how many publications he has authored specifically dealing with Don Juan, I wish I had asked more questions.
In the few weeks before his passing, I sent Armand an excerpt from a book titled The Lost Diary of Don Juan by Douglas Abrams. Armand said he received the copies but a few pages were blank. He was also in the middle of some painful procedures so I'm not sure if he read any of it. I never got his opinion of the book.
Take a look at this list of bibliographies written by Armand Singer from 1954 to 2005 and see if you don't agree that Don Juan was more than a slight interest. If you have any thoughts or insight, please let me know. It's becoming an obsession of mine now and I need help!
