LONG & LANGUID
May 2012. Kona Yoga began as a website in 1998 while I was still a realtor and had been teaching yoga since the early '90s. In 2002, after pulling up all remnants of a career in real estate, and having completed massage school, I made the leap and opened my own studio in Kona. I taught weekly yoga classes along with several other teachers, and did bodywork as a licensed massage therapist. Countless people entrusted their bodies (and lives) as they earnestly attended classes and bodywork sessions. I, gained an incredible respect for the human body and spirit while living happier, ever-after. In my contentment, I asked for and received, more.
So in August of 2011, I made the decision to close the studio and after months of blogging inertia, I'm ready to write about my next, best step. Yoga has blessed me with an inner life that is full of joy and peace. Teaching has taught me that sharing only increases my holdings. So for now, I will be sharing my personal yoga practice at Kona Yoga and hope that you'll either join me or just enjoy reading about it. Aloha.
