...and Baby Makes Three
Danielle won't be in class today, now we're certain. She gave birth to Ayden Danger Deshotel this past Tuesday, March 18, at 4:24pm. Ayden weighed 8.2 pounds and stretched out to a full 21 inches!
Congratulations, Dani and Ben. This will put a smile on the faces of those still doing their wall squats! :D

AW he made the news. He is such a good baby so far! Dad is awesome. As for labor, wall squats just don't do it justice. I love wall squats now! Yoga breathing did help me get through the pain. Making noises is reccomended (and unavoidable) the lower your voice is the better, so om was a great sound for me. I did it without pain medication. I asked for it, but it was in the very late stages and too late, which I am glad for, I made it through. If I had it to do again, prepare that is, I would do SETS of wall squats. 45 seconds...with a 15 second break in between. It is the inbetween contractions part that you have to remember to breathe and mentally prepare for another one. Remembering to relax and breathe is tough. The tub at Waimea was my savior, I think it brought him out quicker. I miss everyone and will stop by next week I hope! Love from the newest happy momma, and of course it was all worth it!

I will definitely relay your "wall squats directive" to the ladies-in-waiting. Be well and I look forward to meeting Ayden, ASAP!
